Miles of Trees and Climate Ride
In 2012 we rode our first Climate Ride from New York City to Washington, D.C. Since then, Miles of Trees has become one of dozens of permanent beneficiary organizations of Climate Ride working in the fields of ecology & sustainability. In September 2014 we rode the Midwest Climate Ride from Grand Rapids, MI to Chicago, IL - four days, 110 cyclists and an amazing experience! This year, we are agin on the road with Climate Ride pedaling the Red White and Blue Ridge itinerary from South-Western Virginia to Washington, D.C. in September 2017.
WE DID IT!
Climate Ride Red White & Blue Ridge is a wrap! 110 cyclists, 230 miles, 3 days and ~14,00 ft elevation! Cyclists arrived along the National Mall to Capitol Hill, advocated for sustainability and climate action, and raised funds for organizations working in these fields!
We have two Climate Ride Events this year: Click to donate on the left and support our mavericks riding in the 2nd edition of the Tour de Quisqueya (Haiti). This is a Climate Ride Independent Challenge, and funds will go towards the execution of the Tour. Click to donate on the right and support our three-member Red White and Blue Ridge Team pedaling from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia to Washington, D.C. in September. Funds will go towards the Miles of Trees tree planting fund.
